March Women in Business
Wednesday, March 1st
8:30am – 10am
Queen Creek Library
Don’t miss out on the premier women’s networking event in Queen Creek! Join us Wednesday, March 1st for Women in Business at Queen Creek Library from 8:30-10AM. This quarter we welcome Susan Brooks, Executive Coach for Women Business Owners.
Susan Brooks is an international speaker, author, columnist, entrepreneur, and CHANGE AGENT. You probably know her best as “The Cookie Queen.” Opening one of the first cookie stores in the nation was a gutsy, innovative and unheard-of idea at that time. One store blossomed into 13 along the east coast. The biggest move was creating a Victorian Parlor on Mill Avenue in Tempe. Cookies from Home was born here on Halloween Day, 1981, earning awards and recognition with those mouthwatering cookies and the ultimate customer experience. This is what made Cookies from Home an iconic, hands-on, multi-million dollar award-winning business! Susan became one of the few women business owners in the Valley who achieved the coveted One Million Dollar benchmark, while raising
two successful children and keeping romance alive with her 50+ year marriage. Trailblazer that she is, and always will be, Susan has claimed CHANGING THE FACE OF AGING as her next project. Wisdom never grows old. With every breath, choice, and step along the way, WE create our very own legacy!
