From Town of Queen Creek – As COVID-19 continues to impact communities, the Town of Queen Creek is working to identify additional opportunities to support local businesses. With cooler weather, there are opportunities to expand outdoor seating for restaurants in atypical settings while maintaining physical distancing. To ensure the expanded dining meets safety requirements, restaurants interested in this opportunity can submit a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) and the Town will waive the applicable fees.

Working with restaurants to expand outdoor dining is just one way the Town is supporting local businesses. The Town continues to offer a Small Business Support grant to reimburse businesses for costs incurred in connection with enhanced sanitization, employee safety, and customer safety – visit InvestTheQC.com/Together to apply.

Additional efforts include waiving business license fees and renewals, a marketing partnership with Hownd, and the relaxing of sign regulations for businesses and homebuilders.

The community is encouraged to Shop QC this holiday season to help support local businesses. When you Shop Queen Creek, you are supporting the local economy, jobs and community programs.
