Vaquero “CAMPY” Invitational Set for October 9th

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – Central Arizona College Athletics will host the 2021 Vaquero “CAMPY” Invitational on Sat., October 9, 2021 at the Signal Peak Campus (8470 N. Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ 85128.) The 8K will start at 7 a.m. and at 7:45 a.m., the 5K will begin.

CAMPY is named for Chuck Schnoor (C), Al Shirley (A), Mike Gray (M), Paul Tavares (P) and George Young (Y). These individuals are all past CAC coaches or NJCAA Hall of Fame inductees.

The CAMPY Invitational will feature a competitive and challenging course including a combination of dirt (80%), grass (10%) and pavement (10%), plus moderate inclines.

Trophies will be awarded to the top two teams and medals will be given to the top 10 individuals.

Cost to attend is $100 per team or $20 for an individual not on a team. Timing will be monitored by Flash Santoro.
