Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce to Host a Women in Business Conference

QUEEN CREEK, AZ – The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is hosting their first Women in Business conference presented by Academy Bank on Wednesday, April 23rd at Encanterra Country Club 9am – 1:30pm. The event will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, local business vendors, and networking.

The conference will feature keynote speaker Bridgett McGowen, an award-winning author, award-winning publisher, and international powerhouse. She is the founder and owner of Press 49, an award-winning hybrid publishing company based in Chandler, Arizona, and the host of the top-rated Own the Microphone podcast. She has won multiple awards, including two Stevie Awards, the world’s premier business award; an Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards; and a Master Presenter Award from the University of Texas at Austin.

She will present “Show Up and Show Out“, and participants will leave her session with a deep understanding of what it truly means to “show up and show out” in their professional lives. Attendees will discover the #1 secret that the most confident people know, setting them apart in any room. Furthermore, Bridgett will unveil the four secret communication pillars that underpin the success of the most self-assured professionals, equipping participants with the tools to enhance their confidence and influence.

Breakout sessions will feature Jan Newton and Waverly Newton-Kenny, Owners/Operators of Nothing Bundt Cakes to help you discover your non-negotiables in career and life and how to be confident in taking the risks and set yourself up to leave a legacy! Jennifer Shirkani, author of Ego vs EQ and Choose Resilience will present an interactive session where participants will leave with tools to maintain a healthy level of challenge and techniques that help them differentiate themselves.

Tickets are available for purchase at queencreekchamber.com. Early bird tickets are $25 for members of the Chamber of Commerce and $40 for non-members. Ticket prices increase to $50 on Monday, April 14th.
