Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce hosted Women in Business Conference

QUEEN CREEK, AZ – The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce hosted their bi-annual Women in Business conference presented by Academy Bank on Wednesday, November 5th at Encanterra Country Club. Approximately 100 industry professionals from Queen Creek and San Tan Valley joined us for a half-day conference with a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, vendors, and networking.

The event featured keynote speaker Jen Buck, who offered empowering insights and strategies tailored to unique experiences and challenges to women in leadership. Attendees embraced their authentic voices, leveraged their strengths, and navigated barriers with confidence.

“November’s Women in Business Conference, themed Lead Boldly: Embracing Your Voice, Vision, and Value,’ provided more than inspiration—it offered meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and transformation,” said Chris Clark, President & CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce. “Through the insights shared by Jen Buck, Alison Smith, and Tina Makris, attendees were encouraged to embrace their unique voices, strengthen their confidence, and lead boldly in every sphere of influence.”

Alison Smith took attendees through “Redefining Thriving: The Mindset Shift That Changes Everything,” where participants walked away ready to design their lives from the inside out, redefine resilience, and use a simple tool to stay grounded when challenges arose. Tina Makris led “Unmute Yourself: Connection, Clarity & Confidence,” a breakout session that invited women business owners and professionals to explore how building a business often requires rebuilding themselves—their confidence, voice, and clarity. Tina blended storytelling, small-group discussion, and practical tools to encourage participants to “unmute” their unique leadership voices and reconnect with their purpose.

Thank you to our event sponsors Academy Bank, Encanterra Country Club, Desert Financial Credit Union, ReliaBookkeeping, and The Lynch Team at Real Broker.
