Leading Edge Preschools Celebrates One Year in Queen Creek

QUEEN CREEK, AZ – Leading Edge Preschool celebrated their one year anniversary in Queen Creek on Thursday, February 12th. Located at 4815 Hunt Highway, Queen Creek, AZ 85142, within Leading Edge Academy, the preschool serves families throughout the Queen Creek community.

Leading Edge Preschool is a faith-based, year-round program serving children ages 3–5. The preschool offers a variety of flexible scheduling options to meet families’ needs, including morning and afternoon classes, two- or three-day programs, and up to five days per week, with both half-day and full-day options available.

The program is rooted in play-based learning and hands-on enrichment. “We are play-based learning. We try to do everything hands-on and very enriching,” said the Preschool Director and Lead Teacher, Jenny Revolt. “We don’t focus on worksheets because they are not developmentally appropriate. Instead, we focus on experiences that help children think, explore, and grow.”

Throughout the school year, which runs on a traditional academic calendar from mid-July through mid-May, students are assessed three times annually to monitor academic progress. Parent-teacher conferences ensure families stay informed and involved in their child’s development.

Family involvement is central to the preschool’s mission. “When you drop your kids off, we want you to feel like you are dropping them off to family,” the Director shared. “We want you to feel fully confident in our teachers. They are all very loving and educated.” said Revolt.

Leading Edge Preschool’s goal is to prepare students for kindergarten by helping them learn how to be students—building cognitive thinking skills, social development, and independence in a nurturing, faith-centered environment.
