Maricopa County Recorder’s Office Issues Important Jurisdictional Elections Reminders

PHOENIX, AZ — The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office is reminding voters of key dates and information for the upcoming November 4, 2025, Jurisdictional Elections. This all-mail election includes a county-wide contest, as well as a variety of city, school district, and other local contests throughout Maricopa County. All registered voters have been mailed a ballot.

Important Election Dates and Information:

  • October 28 is the last recommended day for voters to mail back their ballot to ensure timely delivery.
  • All ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. (Arizona Time) on Election Day, November 4Please note that postmarks do not count.
  • Voters may also drop off their ballot at any secure ballot drop box up until 7:00 p.m. on November 4.
  • Need a replacement ballot? Voting locations are open beginning today, with more than 40 sites available on Election Day. Voters can visit Locations.Maricopa.Vote to find a convenient Drop Box or Replacement Ballot Center, along with hours and directions.
  • A reminder – only the voter should sign the outside of their green affidavit envelope before they mail it. Voter signatures are key in how election officials verify your identity.
  • Voters can track their ballot by texting JOIN to 628-683 to receive real-time updates via text and/or email.
  • Voters can also see the status of their ballot and sign up to track their ballots at BeBallotReady.Vote.
  • State law provides voters with questionable signatures three business days after the Jurisdictional Election to resolve the issue. Impacted voters must verify the signature by 5:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025.

The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office maintains voter registration records for over 2.6 million active voters and is responsible for early ballot, mail-in voting. The Recorder’s Office additionally records, processes, and preserves public documents including deeds, plats, and other essential records. Each year, the office records approximately one million documents and serves 3,000–5,000 customers daily. More than 50 million documents — totaling 185 million images dating back to 1871, are available through its searchable online database.
