The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is encouraging business leaders, residents and community stakeholders to submit comments to the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) in support of proposed improvements at the Sossaman and Germann intersection.
The Town of Queen Creek has filed an application with the ACC to advance critical transportation and railroad crossing improvements designed to enhance traffic flow, improve safety and support continued economic development in the region. The project includes roadway widening, a signalized intersection, and upgraded railroad crossing safety enhancements at one of the community’s most important and rapidly growing transportation corridors.
This project creates a critical east–west transportation connection by linking the two segments of Germann Road, supporting long-term growth, improving regional traffic circulation, and reducing congestion impacts on nearby neighborhoods. As our region continues to expand, timely infrastructure investment is essential to maintaining safety, mobility, and economic vitality.“As Queen Creek and the Southeast Valley continue to grow, infrastructure investments like the Sossaman and Germann intersection improvements are essential to supporting businesses, residents, and regional connectivity,” said Chris Clark, President and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce. “We strongly encourage our members and community partners to make their voices heard in support of this important project.”
The Chamber emphasizes that this investment will help improve mobility for commuters, businesses, schools, and emergency services while supporting the region’s continued economic expansion.
