The event also features a college and career fair, providing students with the opportunity to meet representatives from post-secondary education and engage with local businesses to discover possible career pathways.
“We select the junior class because they still have a year to course correct and change directions. We want them to have the opportunity to explore all the different possible career options; for example students think of a hospital and career options of being a nurse or doctor but don’t realize they could work in a hospital and be an accountant or marketing department.” said Chris Clark, President and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.
