Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce to Host Workforce Readiness Event

QUEEN CREEK, AZ – The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce will host the 9th annual Elevate for Tomorrow on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus. More than 800 high school juniors from Queen Creek, Combs, American Leadership Academy, and surrounding high schools will have the opportunity to attend this unique college and career readiness event.

Students will participate in a variety of breakout sessions, including interviewing and resume skills to financial literacy to college campus living. The event also features a college and career fair, providing students with the opportunity to meet representatives from post-secondary education and engage with local businesses to discover possible career pathways.

“We select the junior class because they still have a year to course correct and change directions. We want them to have the opportunity to explore all the possible career options; for example, students think of a hospital and the career options of being a nurse or doctor but don’t realize they could work in a hospital and be in the accounting or marketing department.” said Chris Clark, President and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses or post-secondary education interested in participating in the college and career fair can sign up at Elevate For Tomorrow Booth Sign Up 2026. Sponsorships are available to get your business in front of residents and businesses, contact Kim Dowers at kim@queencreekchamber.com for more information.

This year’s event is sponsored by the DCPS, Global Roofing Group, Chick-fil-A Ironwood, and Arizona State University.
