The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce successfully hosted its bi-annual Women in Business Conference on Wednesday, April 29th, bringing together business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from across the region for a morning focused on leadership, professional growth, and connection.
Presented by Academy Bank, the conference featured keynote speaker Deborah Gardner, breakout sessions led by local professionals, networking opportunities, and vendor exhibits showcasing area businesses and organizations.

Gardner’s keynote presentation, “OWN YOUR LANE®: Building Self-Trust That Fuels Record-Breaking Performance,” encouraged attendees to lead with confidence, trust their judgment, and take decisive action in both business and life. Drawing from her recent GUINNESS WORLD RECORD shark swim, Gardner shared practical insights on overcoming fear, navigating uncertainty, and building resilience in high-pressure situations.
“The Women in Business Conference continues to be an important opportunity for professionals to connect, learn from one another, and invest in their own growth,” said Chris Clark. “This year’s conference delivered engaging conversations and practical takeaways that attendees can immediately apply within their businesses, organizations, and leadership roles.”

Throughout the breakout sessions, attendees had the opportunity to explore what leadership and growth look like in action. Angela Garmon challenged participants to stand out in their field and SWOT the competition, emphasizing the importance of both self-awareness and strategy in achieving success. The conference also featured a panel discussion, “Building Success in Queen Creek,” where local women leaders shared real stories, practical strategies, and firsthand experiences of building successful businesses and careers within the community.
The Chamber extends its appreciation to presenting sponsor Academy Bank and event sponsors Encanterra Country Club, My Realtor Marla Arzaga, Affinity Dental, Nothing Bundt Cakes, The Shooting Range, Queen Creek City Lifestyle, and Unison Mortgage for their support in making the conference possible.
