Queen Creek Botanical Gardens Opens
QUEEN CREEK, AZ — The Queen Creek Botanical Gardens celebrated their grand opening October 28, 2021. In attendance was Queen Creek Mayor Gail Bareny, Queen Creek Vice Mayor Dawn Oliphant, Queen Creek Town Council Member Julia Wheatley, and local business owners. The garden is located at 25002 S 206th St, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
The Queen Creek Botanical Gardens is the first all edible botanical garden. It’s goal is to inspire and educate the community about elegant edible plants, showing the future of sustainable food production in landscaping.
Justin Rohner, the Executive Director of the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens, says “It’s great to be open! We provide a nice outdoor space for people to connect and cultivate new relationships.”
The Queen Creek Botanical Gardens is also an event venue for weddings and other private events. Coming up this month is their 2nd annual Christmas at Pecan Lake from December 20th – 23rd from 4pm – 9pm! For more information visit qcgardens.org.
